Eligibility Criteria/Admission Requirements |
B.Sc. (Nursing) |
(1) Candidates belonging to all categories for admission to the B.Sc.
degree course in Nursing (Basic) should have passed at the qualifying
examinations (academic stream) after a period of 12 years of study
with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Botany & Zoology.
(2) Individual pass in Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Botany & Zoology
(both Theory & Practical) and English with a minimum of 35%
marks in each of the above subject and with a minimum of 45%
aggregate marks in Physics Chemistry, Biology & English is
mandatory. Further 5% relaxation is permitted to SC/ST students for B.Sc. Nursing is accepted |
MSC (Nursing)
1) The Candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council.
2) The minimum education requirements shall be the passing of B.Sc.(.(N)/B.Sc. Hons. Nursing/Post Basic Nursing with minimum of 55% aggregate mark. [Original marks statement of all years/semesters should be produced.]
3) The candidate should have undergone the full time (regular stream not distance mode) Course in B.Sc. (N)/B.Sc. Hons. Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc.(N) in an Institution which is recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
4) Minimum one year of experience after Basic B.Sc. (N)
5) MINIMUM ONE YEAR EXPERIENCE PROOF OR AFTER Post Basic B.Sc.(N) (regular stream)
6) Candidate shall be medically fit. |
